Killer Magazine June 2026
Killer Magazine does it again and gives music lovers something to genuinely enjoy when it comes to music literature. This month’s issue brings bluegrass back into the mix and explains how Billy Strings saved the genre of music for the next generation. Veteran bluegrass groups, Yonder Mountain String Band, The String Cheese Incident, and Steve Martin and Edie Brickell are also presented to solidify that there’s a bluegrass revolution going on and it’s cool as can be.
After this, Killer Magazine takes a deep inside look at punk rock and determines that it hasn’t died or sold out, but returned to its roots and had no choice but to use mainstream media to have the subculture’s voice heard regarding who and what the punks stand for. Moving on to the debate about Green Day and their punk roots, Killer Magazine ends the debate about Green Day not being a punk band—because they’re an authentic punk group. After this, we look at three punk bands in the local scene in three different states.
Next, we represent three hip-hop artists that deserve more respect for making great rap music. In this day and age, the genre is having a tough time presenting quality hip-hop artists. Killer Magazine helps hip-hop fans by showing them how these three artists are helping maintain real rap music.
K-pop is all the new craze. It’s more than music. It’s a training camp and enormous money maker for the music industry. Killer Magazine showcases six K-pop groups at the top of the genre.
Current alternative music is missing that rawness like we got in the ‘90s. The article discusses this and infers that newer bands with an edginess need to be discovered.
Finally, we embrace Flea’s new jazz album and let everyone know how awesome it is.
Turning to the political article, California is in dire straits and needs external help. What we thought was bad turned out to be much worse in the state. The article discusses the Left’s lack of concern for lifetime Californians and what needs to be done to change the state for the better.

The best music magazine in the world has released its newest issue. Come one, come all! Sublime, the best band ever, is the feature group and article, and with that there comes a party. Tip your hat, sip your drink, and light your spliff as the article tells the amazing tale of Sublime in a way that should've been done years ago. After this, Killer Magazine presents No Doubt's return to the spotlight and their upcoming residency at Sphere in Las Vegas. Immediately following, Dirty Heads is presented as one of the best bands to come out of the early 2000s.
Hip-hop lost a true soldier. Killer Magazine remembers Lord Sear and discusses his legacy for new-schoolers and other artists and professionals in the business. Gorilla Nems makes a Killer Magazine debut as one of the best underground artists who was able to rise up by doing everything himself and staying true to himself. We also talk about his dedication to the rap game and how he's one of the best rappers lyrically. Finally, Finesse2Tymes is praised for his realness and dedication to starting a new life of music. He's not exactly southern style, not exactly east or west coast, but genuinely Finesse 2Tymes style, and that's what fans want.
Country music superstar, Luke Combs, dared to drop out of college to pursue a dream. After some trial and error, as well as pure dedication to making music, he became an international country sensation, a dad, and more, and now he's poised to take on more roles in the near future. Megan Moroney is country's newest sweetheart and touring like crazy. Her concerts are so awesome that they're breaking ticket sales' records everywhere she's playing. Johnny Cash needs a new tribute album by new musicians. We all love the Man in Black. It's about time we let the younger generations, and older ones, experience Johnny at least one more time.
Alice Cooper forever! The odd and bold story of the King of Shock-Rock is told, and it's told better than all other publications. After this truly astounding story, Killer Magazine then looks at the career of the Red Hot Chili Peppers and believes that they're about due for another single and album.
The metal section is as metal as can be! Cryptosis, a Dutch trio, is so badass that they made waves in the United States like no other groups before them. Even better, they rode those waves all way to Europe to begin touring as soon as they finished in the United States. On to the coolest local metal bands in the Northeast; Hate Grenade brings back the rap-metal like no one else and does so in their own unique style. Made from true metalheads who helped guide the scene in Upstate New York, Pennsylvania, and elsewhere, their new album is only the starting point of more to come. Finally in the metal section, we have Blood Desecration. Another local band that's built on honest dark-thrash metal and doesn't seem to be slowing down. Show after show is packed with their Blood Legion and the fan base is getting louder and bigger every time they show up.
Political correctness isn't President Trump's forte. His decision on Iran is discussed and how the future of Iran is in the hands of the American people. Midterms and 2028 are seen as possible channels to a return of a violent and oppressive Iran, which would be terrible for Iranians and many others.
Red Flag Girl
This is a short four chapter e-story. A work of fiction. Also, available on Amazon Kindle. Print copies available on Amazon.
A unique dissident shows up in Los Angeles and takes the city by surprise. At first, everything is fun and games. Then, the hard truth of reality seeps in and it’s learned that this no nonsense, wild man isn’t there for only glitz and glamour. Eventually, Henry learns that he has a secret crush yearning for his attention. Because of his notoriety and crudeness, and Ola’s wholesome, it-girl personality, the crush is unable to blossom into a full fledged relationship because of government malfeasance.
Hint after hint is dropped by the aspiring Russian Hollywood actress to the crazy man to clean-up his act so the two can begin a passionate romance that others envy. Yet, with the government constantly making their way into Henry’s life the changes he’s willing to make are uprooted when he’s forced to leave the area due to his refusal to accept political values that are against his beliefs and for the good of the public.
Even after the separation, Ola ponders about what could’ve been. As she tries to fill the void of the love she felt, nothing appears to be an adequate substitute. Her desire for a genuine bond then consumes her so much that she begins to teach women what they shouldn’t accept when it comes to the men in their lives. The plan has an undercover ulterior motive, though. Which is to show Henry what she wants him to be so the two can evolve together and, of course, be together.
