This is an educational essay on how the war in Ukraine started in 2022. In addition to this, the essay presents how present-day Russia, Ukraine, and Eastern Europe came to be and how NATO and the United States specifically were involved in causing the current war to start. The essay concludes by offering solutions to stop the conflict and a return to a long state of peace.
